I have VPS windows service from some company. What control panel will i be needing to run ruthless ops in the server? Plz help i been trying and nothing works "/ also steps by steps if possible please. thanks! xD
-
Use Remote Desktop to connect to the VPS. From there you can set up and run a bot.
-
Ok, thank you Pianka.
-
Yep. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
-
I will no doubt xD

Will Ruthie work on a Windows server 2003(64-bit) ?
-
I'am pretty sure l2uthless Ops will work on any Windows based machine. It works on my Windows 98 VPS so 2003 should work as well.
-
Hmm, I tried to connect it but it only went to [12:54:08 PM] [BNET] Connecting... I turn DEP only for windows programs etc.. I gotta see if it works now.. :s im kinda having trouble lol
-
This is what i got :s
[1:06:35 PM] [BNET] Connecting...
[1:06:56 PM] [BNET] Winsock error occured! Closing socket...
Oh, and when I try to start WebBot this error pops up: "Component mswinsck.ocx or one of it dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" idk if that would be affecting ruthless ... Any idea how to solve this problem?
-
Google the file mswinsck.ocx. Download it and put it in C:\WINDOWS\system32\ then open up a command prompt Start->Run then type cmd and hit enter. Then type regsvr32 mswinsck.ocx. If it errors, repeat the process but make sure to run the command prompt as Administrator. Once you've registered the control, it shouldn't give you that error. However, you may receive an error for something like richtx32.ocx as well. Repeat the exact same process with the new file.

Yes, I registered all the needed files on system32 and system.. Bots now will Open but wont connect.. I get this error on ruthless..:
[1:46:51 PM] [BNET] Connecting...
[1:47:12 PM] [BNET] Winsock error occured! Closing socket...
I have also added the exception on DEP.. Idk whats going on "/

I think it is time for DEP to work! just incase you need it.

Not all VPS' are able to connect to Bnet. Usually the lower ends but you can never be sure, unless you ask your provider in advance. If you installed the .ocx files and still can't connect check with your provider to make sure it can connect to bnet servers.

Check to make sure it's allowed in Windows Firewall, sometimes it doesn't correctly popup saying it's blocked something over RDC. tauro if I may ask where did you buy this VPS from?

^^ This could very well be your problem as I know l2uthless Ops works on Windows Server 2003 (64bit) as I've used it before.

I've actually had a person with the exact same problem using 64bit Windows Server 2003. I told him to switch to 32bit version and the problem resolved. Perhaps you should do that if you're still having issues.
