##Complete Start To Finish Beginners Guide for l2uthless Ops#############
#############################################################
###################By BnetWeb Admin HackeZ####################
#############################################################
I have seen quite a few newcomers to the l2uthless Ops Worls
so I decided to go through the steps on a very beginner level, start to finish of getting the bot
up and running as quick as possible with very few questions raised.
So Lets Begin The Tutorial.
###########################
#STEP 1 # Download the Bot#
###########################
First the very most important thing you will need, THE BOT itself.
You can currently get the most up to date ruthless ops from this
thread here: http://bnetweb.org/moderation-bots/l2uthless-ops-v2-13/ (http://bnetweb.org/moderation-bots/l2uthless-ops-v2-13/)
Scroll to the bottom of the first post by l2k-Shadow it will say
"Other attached file(s):" and right below it the download link to the
most current l2uthless ops released.
Once, downloaded extract it pretty much anywhere you want, on windows xp
or higher it will be as simple as double clicking the downloaded file.
On versions of windows which predate windows xp you will need to download
winzip at http://winzip.com (http://winzip.com) if they even still have a free version?
###########################
#STEP 2 # Download Hashes #
###########################
I recommend hashes even for beginners because its safer to keep your
account secure and you arent relying on other people to get your bots up.
To know which hashes you need first you need to know what game the bot is
going to be loaded on. If its going to be a war3 bot, d2 bot etc.
(whatever Kind of Key you are putting on the bot we will discuss key
setting later in the tutorial).
Once you know which game you are going to load the bot on. You can go
to the hash download page here: http://bnetweb.org/hashes/ (http://bnetweb.org/hashes/)
and download appropriate hashes. For those of you who dont know games by
there codes here they are
STAR= STARCRAFT
D2DV= Diablo 2 Classic
D2XP= Diablo 2 Expansion Lord of Destruction
WAR3= Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos
W2BN= Warcraft 2 Battle.net Edition
SEXP(Not Listed on hash page)= Starcraft Broodwar(Just download STAR hashes)
Once you have downloaded the correct hash zip file from one of the
appropriate forum topics. Open the directory where you extracted
l2uthless ops. Inside there you should see all the product codes listed
above extract the hashes you just downloaded into the matching folder.
Ex. Going to run Warcraft3 bot, downloaded WAR3 hashes at
http://bnetweb.org/hashes/war3/, (http://bnetweb.org/hashes/war3/,) and extracted them to my l2uthlessOps
folder inside the WAR3 folder.
#####################################
#STEP 2 1/2 # Updating Warden If Required #
#####################################
This step is for Warcraft3 and Starcraft Users only if you arent using one of these clients skip to step 3.
Go to your l2uthlessOps directory and Open the Warden Folder. There should be a file called WardenSC.txt and WardenW3.txt.
If you are using Starcraft open up WardenSC.txt if you are using Warcraft 3 Open up WardenW3.txt.
You will see alot of numbers and letters you wont understand in here. Delete all the lines in this file and replace them.
With all the lines in the txt file at the appropriate link:
Warcraft 3-> http://www.l2uthless.org/l2uthless%20Chat/WardenW3.txt (http://www.l2uthless.org/l2uthless%20Chat/WardenW3.txt)
EDIT: It seems shadow doesnt have the sc one up perhaps he will reupload it to his website in the near future?
Starcraft->http://www.l2uthless.org/l2uthless%20Chat/WardenSC.txt (http://www.l2uthless.org/l2uthless%20Chat/WardenSC.txt)
#####################################
#STEP 3 # Setting Up Your l2uthless #
#####################################
Ok this is probly one of the more confusing parts for beginners.
So I will take this line by line pretty much. Before we get into
the main file, go to your l2uthlessOps directory where you extracted
the first download. Open up users.txt. This is where you give people
control over your bot. You will see either a blank file or it will have
l2k-Shadow@useast 101. If it has l2k-Shadow@useast delete that line.
And add your own name (the name you want to control the bot with). This file
Is for where you add everyone with access to your bot. While you are
doing this I recommend opening up readme.txt while ur at it. You will
see a list of commands you will be able to use with the bot. And how big
of a number you need to give yourself if you want to use those commands.
If you are the owner simply set yourself to 101 since that makes you able
to do anything. To Set yourself or others simple put your name@server.
Ex. Say I had 3 friends and myself I wanted to add.
HackeZ@useast, Scope@azeroth , l2k-Shadow.@useast
My Users.txt would Look like this:
HackeZ@useast 101
Scope@azeroth 70
l2k-Shadow.@useast 70
each user on a new line with a space after there name and a number
based off of what I want them able to do look at readme for a list of
commands users can use.
Now that we have adding yourself covered lets do the not so fun part.
Actually setting up the bot itself!
Ok go back to your l2uthless Directory and open up Config.ini. It should
Look something like this

Ok I will now walk you through setting up a single bot, first
lets look at this part.
[Keys]
Loop Key List=Y
Remove Voided=Y
Remove Muted=Y
Remove InUse=N
Remove Invalid=Y
Remove Banned=Y
Rotate Voided=Y
Rotate Muted=Y
Rotate InUse=Y
Rotate Invalid=Y
Rotate Banned=Y
Most beginner users can skip this first step of config.ini called a)
A) Keys.txt and key rotation and removal.
Loop Key List=Y
What this means is if you have multiple cdkeys for a single bot, do
this only if you want. Go to the game type you extracted hashes to.
and create a file called keys.txt. On each line of this file you put
a single cdkey without dashes. The bot will continue to go through
the keys in this file until it hits a working one. This is just an
option you can utilize and is not required I just thought I would go over it.
The rest of these lines ex. Rotate Voided=Y and Remove Voided=Y are also
for the keys.txt mostly it just means to "rotate" if they key is voided, inuse,
invalid or to "Remove" the key if it is voided, inuse, invalid etc.
B) Global options.
[GLOBAL]
Use Warden Server=N
Warden Server=96.251.47.7:7149
Use BNLS=N
BNLS Server=jbls.org:9367
Profiles To Load On Startup=
Hide On Startup=N
Flood/Load Warning Messages=Y
Check for Updates=N
Ok First things first, in this tutorial we arent using BNLS or Warden
servers if you dont know what this is its fine, the only part of this
I want you to modify is Profiles To Load On Startup. Down the line this
lets you setup more profiles to be loaded for multiple bots. but for this
tutorial simply set it to Profiles To Load On Startup=Main.
This will Load the bot we will be setting up in the [Main] part below.
Verbyte STAR=211
Verbyte SEXP=211
Verbyte W2BN=79
Verbyte D2DV=12
Verbyte D2XP=12
Verbyte WAR3=24
Verbyte W3XP=24
These verbytes are VERY important to your bot getting online. The rule of
thumb with these numbers are only change them in 2 instances.
When you just download the bot and when the bot randomly stops working.(not always the issue)
Scroll up back to where you got the hashes from in Step 2. Click
on the product you downloaded and extracted in step 2. Inside the topic
above the download link it will say "verbyte" and a number. Set the number
scope says is the verbyte number in that topic. To the right placement in
your config.
Ex. Say you downloaded hashes for Warcraft 3. In topic it says verbyte=24
then set the verbyte in your config to 24. Verbyte WAR3=24. If the number
is already correct just leave it alone and move onto the next step.
c)Setting Username, Password, Key etc
[MAIN]
Username=l2k-Shadow
Password=
Cd-Key=
XPCd-Key=
Client=3raw
Server=useast.battle.net
Home Channel=Clan l2k
Cd-Key Owner=l2uthless Ops
As you see I skipped a few lines of which Im not going to discuss in this
tutorial for as they arent needed for an absolute beginner to understand
This part of the tutorial is the single most important part. Setting up
the bot itself. This part is pretty straight foreward.
First set the username you want the bot to be in the channel to whatever
you want it. Note: if its on warcraft 3 DO NOT add @azeroth on the end.
Ex. If I wanted to load HackeZBOT I would do Username=HackeZBOT.
Next set Password to whatever you can remember and want.
ex. password=HackeZRules
Next you will see Cd-Key and XPCd-Key, XPCd-Key is only required for
warcraft 3 frozen throne and diablo 2 lord of destruction. So unless
you are using those game dont worry about it. Pretty basic
just throw your cdkey beside the equal sign WITHOUT dashes.
Ex. HackeZ on broodwar. Cd-Key=1234567890123 (and no thats not a real key)
Next you will set client, This brings us back to the hashes you downloaded earlier
Scroll up on this tutorial to see what game type you picked and you need
to set this equal to the product backwards.
Ex1) Game and cdkey wanted is Warcraft 3 client = 3raw
Ex2) game and cdkey wanted is Starcraft client = rats
Next you will see server=useast.battle.net. The rule of thumb here
is take whatever server you want to be on and put .battle.net on the end.
Easiest way to go about it
Ex1)Want bot on USEast or Azeroth. server=useast.battle.net
Ex2)Want bot on USWest or Lordaeron. server=uswest.battle.net
Next is Home Channel=clan l2k, Obviously l2k is currently dead so
you dont want your bot to start out there. So set wherever you want
the bot to go beside this equal sign
Ex1) I want LW-Davin to join clan LW on connect. Home Channel=Clan LW
Next you see Cd-Key Owner this part isnt a huge deal its pretty much
just what other people would see if they tried to connect to battle.net on
your key.
Ex1) Scope is a jerk and is trying to game on my bots key, and my Cd-Key Owner is set to
Cd-Key Owner=EatDirtScope, When he tried to connect he would see EatDirtScope when he tried
to connect.
d) Last but not least
Trigger=+
Auto Detect Loads=N
Ignore Whispered Cmds=N
Whisper Back=N
Silent Mode=N
Keep Logs=N
Auto CP=N
Masterlock=N
The only part of these lines we will discuss and I will want you to change
or not change if you wish. Is the Trigger= line. This is the letter or
character you want to use to use l2uthlessOps commands.
Ex1)Trigger=$ and I wanted to use the say command on LW-Davin
<HackeZ> $say blah
<LW-Davin@azeroth> blah
###############################
#STEP 4 # Connecting Your Bot #
###############################
Phew finally all configged and ready to go. Open up your directory
you extracted step 1 into, and open up l2uthless Ops.exe. Since we
set our bot we configured to load on start in Step 3. All we have to do
is click Main and go to Connect.
###############################
#STEP 5 # End of Tutorial Yay #
###############################
Bing Bang boom You just Downloaded, Configured and Connected your l2uthlessOps
Hope this Tutorial was helpful to all new comers to the world of l2uthlessOps

they won't.

I know, it's always a hope though right?

I know, it's always a hope though right?
no, not really.
-
Fine. Then we won't hope and we'll see the same stupid questions all the time and always help....
-
At least instead of explaining everything people ask we can direct them to this and they can find it for themselves.
-
Nice HackeZ. Hopefully New people use it
-
davin's such a champ :P
-
at least there are people out there that care enough to spend time to set something like this up... gj hackez
-
There's a file called ReadMe.txt, I guess most people are just too stupid to read it.
But atleast you care enough to let them know that there is help out there! =P
-
darg it i gave steve a thank you!! >< wrong thank you~~!!~~ jeje

When I was a newb and downloaded nbbot when it was first leaked, I would have killed for a guide like this. Its not stupidity its naiveness this will give them something to save and follow steps from.
-
I tend to read the Read Me's that are named Don't Read Me.
-
Why is it that my l2uthless chat bot was faster at responding/joining channel than my Ops one is? And why can't my Ops bot respond to my actions? Like $say blah.
I posted all my specs in here http://www.bnetweb.org/l2uthless-chat/hello-i-just-got-l2uthless-chat-2-7-beta-to-work-alot-of-questions-gt_lt/msg33543/#msg33543
Please if anyone can help me quick, I've actually read all through this tutorial...
