l2uthless Crashing on VPS Solution

If your l2uthless Ops crashes while being run on a VPS, you must turn off Data Execution Prevention, which is turned on by default on most VPS.

To turn off Data Execution Prevention, follow the following steps:

Code: [Select]
1) Click Start
2) Go to Control Panel
3) Click System
4) Go to the tab marked Advanced
5) Where it says Performance, click Settings
6) Go to the tab marked Data Execution Prevention
7) Under the list box, there should be a button marked "Add..." Click it and browse to the l2uthless Ops executable.
8) Click OK.

Can you explain? any error messages, any connection failures, does it immediately crash or after a short while?

alrite well it loads up right, but as i am loading new profiels it will crash randomly. there is no error messages, it jus crashes. sometimes it will load all the profiles but that is rarely. most of the time it will crash.

This is not a DEP problem then, please post your config, be sure to edit out cdkeys and passwords.

Can you tell if the account goes offline on bnet or does it stay online? if it doesn't go offline then it could be like what happens to me which is sometimes l2uthless Ops will auto hide itself on my VPS but I can usually find it under processes and right click then goto bring to front.

i cant post my config now cuz i am currently not at home but i rly doubt it is my config. because it works fine on my own computer. i mean it can load all the profiles it's jus sometimes as it is loading the profile it will lag and crash . and when it does load all profiles sucessfully. i can connect to them all and they will stay on . unless i do too much commands the bot will crash.

I have the same problem, although it doesn't crash very often. Usually happens while connecting profiles or when you send the bot to the tray. I highly doubt the problem will be fixed since l2uth 3.0 is in design stages..

Are you using 64bit Windows on the VPS? I've been notified of problems with doing this. If this is the case, try to get it changed to a 32bit Windows.

It's a 32bit executable. If the emulator does not work properly on the 64bit OS, there is not much I can do.

I also heard some VPS host search for bnet ports and kill process/connection
