I have decided to set up a JBLS server for BnetWeb. For those who do not know, JBLS is known as the 'Java Battle.net Logon Server' by Hdx. This software is provided free by Hdx for all too use, and therefore, severs can be compromised by those who run them. This is the second safest option when connecting to Battle.net (local hashing of course being #1). The server I run is
JBLS v3.1 and is on a linux server, being controlled solely by myself. Users can choose to use it or not. Keep in mind it
IS POSSIBLE to packet log a JBLS server to obtain user information, however, most up-to-date bots do not even send your password to JBLS (i.e l2uthless, Mirage). So you are relatively safe when using a BNLS/JBLS server. If you have any questions regarding BnetWeb's JBLS server, please do not hesitate to reply to this thread and I will gladly assist you.
I have just recently set this up and have tested it on all clients and it seems to work perfectly, I ask you test it as well and let me know if you run into any issues.
