JBLS Server
« on: June 05, 2009, 05:40:25 AM »
I have decided to set up a JBLS server for BnetWeb. For those who do not know, JBLS is known as the 'Java Battle.net Logon Server' by Hdx. This software is provided free by Hdx for all too use, and therefore, severs can be compromised by those who run them. This is the second safest option when connecting to Battle.net (local hashing of course being #1). The server I run is JBLS v3.1 and is on a linux server, being controlled solely by myself. Users can choose to use it or not. Keep in mind it IS POSSIBLE to packet log a JBLS server to obtain user information, however, most up-to-date bots do not even send your password to JBLS (i.e l2uthless, Mirage). So you are relatively safe when using a BNLS/JBLS server. If you have any questions regarding BnetWeb's JBLS server, please do not hesitate to reply to this thread and I will gladly assist you.

I have just recently set this up and have tested it on all clients and it seems to work perfectly, I ask you test it as well and let me know if you run into any issues.

The current public version of Stealthbot does send all your info to the BNLS server.

I was unaware as I haven't used Stealth since around 2005.

Interesting does anyone know if it supports hashes?

In most countries selling harmful things like drugs is punishable. Then howcome people can sell Microsoft software and go unpunished?
The Linux philosophy is "laugh in the face of danger". Oops. Wrong one. "Do it yourself". That's it.
Going from DOS to Linux is like trading a glider for an F117.

What do you mean? JBLS makes it so you do not need hashes. Thats the entire point of JBLS. The hashes are stored on my server instead of your computer.

Seriously KingofKings, you have nothing to worry about from using JBLS, no one cares about your channel that much.
